The seven-day Maiden Tri-Services Indo – US #HADR #Amphibious Exercise ‘TIGER TRIUMPH’ concluded at Kakinada on 21 November 2019. Indian Naval Ships Jalashwa, Airawat and Sandhayak, #IndianArmy troops from 19 MADRAS and 7 GUARDS, #IndianAirForce Mi -17 helicopters along with the Rapid Action Medical Team, and #USNavy Ship Germantown with troops of the #USMarine Third Division participated in the exercise, aimed to project flexible and swift mobilization capability of the #ArmedForces in response to a HADR scenario. The harbour phase, at Visakhapatnam, included professional interactions and sharing of #BestPractices whilst the sea phase, from 17 to 21 November 2019 off Kakinada, included joint operations by IN and USN Ships including landing of Relief Forces and HADR stores ashore. The forces from both the nations had jointly set-up a Relief and Medical Camp at Kakinada as part of the simulated HADR scenario. The exercise provided an opportunity for the participating forces of both sides to incorporate best practices and insights in the field of Amphibious – HADR Operations.
