Selection of Sub-ordinates (Delegation):** - Who do you choose from your group, and why? - Do you pick people based on physical strength alone, or do you look for logical thinkers? - **Tip:** Choose candidates who are receptive, follow instructions clearly, and don't create unnecessary friction. **2. Stress & Pressure Handling (The Real Test):** - When your primary plan gets stuck, do you panic or stay calm and switch to Plan B? - Assessors often pressure you intentionally by asking: *'Are you sure?'* or *'Time is running out, speed up!'* - Your **Composure, Calmness, and Adaptability** are what get tested here. **3. Command & Communication:** - How do you instruct your sub-ordinates? - Do you shout orders, or do you communicate clearly and respectfully? - **True Leadership is not bossiness—it's the art of executing a plan effectively through your team.** 🎯 **3 Golden Rules to Ace the Command Task:** - **Rule 1: Briefing is Key.** Take 5 seconds to explain the strategy to your sub-ordinates before jumping into action. - **Rule 2: Delegate, Don't Monopolize.** As a commander, direct the team. Avoid trying to do all the physical labour yourself while your team stands idle. - **Rule 3: Always Have a Plan B.** If Plan A fails, stay composed, observe the structure from a different angle, and adapt.
